As a continuation to the LAMDP preparatory process and the facilitation services offered by the Global Donor Platform for Rural Development, Klaus Talvela, the Platform’s International Facilitator (IF) for Cambodia, undertook a mission to Phnom Penh from October 1 through 10, 2006. This document is the mission report. It summarises the implemented and planned actions during the secon half of 2006. It is not an assessment of the context and the LAMDP process as a whole. They are better described in the reports of the previous missions in March and June, 2006.
The objectives set to the mission are as follows:
- Starting of the work with the national facilitator.
- Continue the work on the Code of Conduct with the development partners.
- Contribute to the work of the TWGL.
- Initiate the work with MLMUPC & CLP core groups.
- Prepare the visit of Dr. Mauricio Gómez, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nicaragua.
