This synopsis highlights 2007 priority targets, required consultations, and joint actions for success of the AU/NEPAD’s Comprehensive African Agricultural Development Programme (CAADP) for the consideration of G-8 and other development partners. 2006 progress and achievements are also reviewed.
CAADP is a high level Africa-led initiative launched by NEPAD in 2003, in the recognition of the decisive role Agriculture and rural development play for fighting poverty in Africa.
