Written/Published in 2007 by No specific author

Extract

The project targeted to enhance the living conditions of subsistence farmers, living in a marginal nepalese mountain area.  The multi-dimensional approach of the intervention included programmes for the infrastructure-, agriculture-, income-generation-, education- and health-sector, and for natural resource management. A core aspect was the formation of small groups within the villages to discuss community issues on a regular basis to collectively solve problems.
