Review of Evidence of the Effectiveness of CIDA's Grants and Contributions, CIDA 2006
Written/Published in 2006 by CIDA

Extract

The development effectiveness performance of the Agency's grants and contributions is 80% satisfactory or better and 20% unsatisfactory or lower, which compares to similar scores of the performance of the WB and the AsDB.

There is minimal difference in the effectiveness of the Bilateral and Partnership delivery channels across the Agency.

The evidence indicates that while systems for due diligence are in place to deliver effective programming, their applications across the Agency is uneven.
