The Board of the Global Donor Platform for Rural Development met in Brussels, Friday 14th March.
Agenda items concerned:
- the Platform harvesting concept
- Platform Joint Principles
- Platform in-country activities
- support for the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP) of AU/Nepad
At the 2nd Board meeting the Platform member-representatives elected Brian Baldwin from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) as the new Platform Chair.

The Platform Board and Steering Committee meet each month via video conference,
the next Platform general meeting is expected to take place in Geneva, October or November 2008 |
