Block 2: The role of the Platform in the light of conclusions in Block 1
The Platform evaluation report outlined clearly what it saw as possible roles for the Platform as a network (see Evaluation page 44):
- Networker
- Knowledge broker/clearing house
- Advocate
- Knowledge creator
- Service provider
Each role carries with it implications for operational structures and the resources required to effectively fulfil each role.
