Lasse Krantz is replacing Daniel Asplund as Platform Focal Point at Sida

First of all we would like to thank Daniel Asplund for all his support and valuable input that he has been providing as Platform Focal Point at the Swedish International Development Agency (Sida) over the past years.

We are sure some of the lessons learned in this global Network might be of relevance in his next post in Macedonia – we wish him all the best!

And now we are warmly welcoming Lasse Krantz as Sida Focal Point for the Platform. We are especially excited that Lasse will be continuing the role as Focal point – not only has he been one of the first members and drivers of the Platform, but he is certainly also bringing back important insights from his recent post in Managua, Nicaragua. We will be looking forward to exchange with him views and experiences of donor coordination, harmonisation and alignment within PRORURAL where we have been facilitating the harmonisation and alignment efforts of our partners and members towards the greater effectiveness of our agriculture and rural development programmes for two years now.
