Side event will be held in the rooms SOLAR and WIND at the Ministry for the Environment (MoE) and in the rooms METRO and RAIL at the Ministry of Transport (MoT), a three-minute walk from the Hotel Maritim. Exhibits will be located in the foyer and the corridor between Saal Maritim and Saal Beethoven on the ground floor of the Hotel Maritim.
Following the previous practice and in line with the secretariat's efforts towards climate neutrality, the side event and exhibit brochure as well as the information for participants brochure will only be available in electronic format.

The SBI, SBSTA, AWG-KP, AWG-LCA and ADP chairs are keen to have briefings to the NGOs. Dates and times will be announced in the Daily Programme or CCTV at the latest

//  Constituency focal points meeting

A Constituency focal points meeting will be held in order for the CAS coordinator to introduce her counterpart in the Qatari Government for COP 18/CMP 8. A separate general briefing by the Qatari government for COP 18/CMP 8 is also foreseen, which will be open to all parties and observer organisations.
