Data to End Hunger - Aligning country visions and donor commitments to deliver SDG 2 and grow enough food to feed the world

The Global Donor Platform for Rural Development is pleased to share the invitation of our members FAO, IFAD and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

High-level representatives from the Governments of Kenya and Ghana, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data, USAID and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation are hosting a UNGA side-event to announce the ’50 by 2030’ initiative, the largest-ever financial commitment on data for agricultural development. The initiative will involve governments and donors in a commitment to deliver on Sustainable Development Goal 2 and grow enough food to feed the world.
