The symposium will also contribute to the celebrations of the Day of the Mediterranean, marked on 28 November by the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), underlining the region’s shared commitment to dialogue, sustainability, and collaboration. By convening a wide range of stakeholders, CIHEAM Zaragoza and AECID aim to foster a constructive exchange on the future of agrifood systems cooperation—one that ensures food security, strengthens local capacities, and aligns with the evolving needs of territories most affected by humanitarian and geopolitical instability.
GDPRD Secretariat Coordinator Maurizio Navarra is a panellist on Day One’s Session II on “Adapting for impact: the role of European development agencies in a changing world. Reshaping multilateral and bilateral agri-food cooperation”.
