As the leading forum for international security policy, the 62nd Munich Security Conference (MSC) is led by MSC Chairman Ambassador Wolfgang Ischinger, with hundreds of decision-makers and opinion leaders from different regions of the world gathered to discuss security policy challenges.

In 2026, the LANDac annual conference will focus on the theme Land, Conflict, and Peace. The event provides a platform to examine challenges at the intersection of land governance, conflict, and humanitarian studies. Call for abstracts closes on 27 February 2026.

The World Bank’s Research Department invites submission of papers featuring academic research on all aspects of land governance and institutions and their impact on shared economic growth, resilience, private investment, job creation, and poverty reduction. Participation in the conference will be by invitation only. Priority will be given to presenters whose papers have been accepted.

29-30 June 2026 | Hamburg, Germany. This year, the conference will focus on consolidating achievements and expanding its scope and outreach, recognizing the HSC’s unique role as a safe space for challenging conversations and unconventional exchanges. It will take place at a crucial moment for international co-operation.

16-19 March 2026 | Hybrid, Asian Development Bank HQ, Manila, Philippines. The forum will bring together a multi-stakeholder group to explore opportunities for transforming food systems in the region, under the theme “Feeding the Future, Sustaining the Planet”.
