At the network meeting "Partners for change - Transformation to a food secure, resilient and sustainable future", almost 250 participants from over 20 countries came together to exchange experiences and ideas on the transformation of agricultural and food systems.
This report demonstrates how employment in one sector – agro-food – can provide economic opportunities and improve livelihoods of young people in the MENA region, with a special focus on Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia.
The One CGIAR Research Initiative on “Rethinking Food Markets and Value Chains for Inclusion and Sustainability” commissioned a meta-study to review the available evidence and to identify knowledge gaps regarding the impacts on employment in agrifood value chains (AVC)

In 2023, the Global Youth Economic Opportunities (YEO) Summit's theme is YEO Reimagined: Powering Youth-Led Action Towards 2030. This theme is focused on how the global YEO 2030 community can reimagine and build sustainable youth economic opportunities, with and for young people in the decade of action.
This study employs a new method to fill the gaps of missing data points in order to provide sound total employment estimates in the forest sector on a global scale.
