The report assesses the relevance, coherence, effectiveness and efficiency of the FSCH during the period 2022-2026, identifying both the strengths and weaknesses of the programme. Based on these findings, the report concludes with seven recommendations aimed at strengthening international coordination, governance, financing and country-level support for food systems transformation.

To accelerate progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the global community established the United Nations Food Systems Coordination Hub (FSCH) in 2022 following the 2021 United Nations Food Systems Summit (UNFSS). The report, System-wide Evaluation of the United Nations Food Systems Coordination Hub, assesses the relevance, coherence, effectiveness and efficiency of the FSCH during the period 2022-2026.

It finds that the FSCH effectively contributed to keeping food systems transformation high on the global agenda through global and regional convening efforts. However, it concludes that the Hub was less successful in improving United Nations system coordination on food systems at the country level. Finally, the report presents seven recommendations aimed at strengthening international coordination, governance, financing and country-level support for food systems transformation.
