Zambia's population has grown by 3% annually over the past decade, with a youth population comprising 65%. The country has made strides in expanding education access, with 82% primary school enrollment and 58% secondary education completion. Despite challenges, Zambia has seen consistent economic growth, with agriculture accounting for 20% of the GDP.

The report discusses the institutional and policy innovations and programmatic interventions undertaken by the Government of Zambia and its partners to enhance youth participation in the Zambian economy, particularly in the agrifood systems, by offering them decent employment opportunities.
