This year’s event marks a milestone: FAO’s 80th anniversary
FAO's 80th anniversary is commemorated through a week of global dialogue, knowledge exchange and solution-driven collaboration, all guided by the theme “Hand in Hand for Better Foods and a Better Future” and FAO’s four betters: better production, better nutrition, a better environment, and a better life.
The 2025 World Food Forum Flagship Event will bring together changemakers from around the globe to explore bold solutions and foster inclusive partnerships across three dynamic pillars: Global Youth Action, the Science and Innovation Forum, and the Hand-in-Hand Initiative Investment Forum. Throughout the week, participants will engage in high-level dialogues, interactive labs, innovation showcases, matchmaking meetings, hackathons, exhibitions, and cultural events—all designed to accelerate progress toward more sustainable, resilient, and equitable agrifood systems. This is a unique opportunity to co-create solutions with youth leaders, scientists, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and investors who are shaping the future of food.
This year’s event is set to be even more impactful with a range of high-profile highlights, including World Food Day celebrations and the official opening of the Food and Agriculture Museum and Network (MuNe)—an immersive space where tradition meets innovation. Attendees can also explore the First FAO Global Exhibition: From Seeds to Foods, take part in the Rome Water Dialogue, visit the nomadic Indigenous Peoples’ territory at FAO’s 80th anniversary, and contribute to key global conversations through ministerial dialogues and thematic sessions. Whether you're here to learn, share, celebrate, or collaborate, the 2025 WFF is your space to connect and take meaningful action for a better food future.
