Improving Diets and Nutrition through Food Systems: What Will it Take? A Dialogue on IFPRI’s 2024 Global Food Policy Report

This special event in the Global Policy Report series is co-organized by IFPRI, the Netherlands Food Partnership, the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security, and Nature.

The event addresses IFPRI’s 2024 Global Food Policy flagship publication. In addition to a presentation of the report’s key findings and recommendations by IFPRI’s leading researchers in diets and nutrition, a distinguished panel of European and country partner policy makers, and representatives of multilateral institutions will discuss the report. Expert remarks will focus on key challenges and opportunities for EU stakeholders to support the transformation of food systems to advance nutrition and healthy diets in low and middle-income countries.

The event follows a hybrid format, taking place in Museon Omniversum (the Hague, the Netherlands) and online on Wednesday 6 November, 13.00 - 17.00 CET. Participants can register via the event page, and may submit questions in advance.
