In a constantly changing world of work, young people must be able to position themselves as the driver of their career, and not just a passenger. Choosing a profession is an important step in the transition from education to the world of work. Acquiring the skills to find one’s way however is not easy, particularly for those most vulnerable in the labour market, such as youth, women, and persons with disabilities. Employment services have a critical role to play in supporting them.
The Global Initiative on Decent Jobs for Youth and the International Labour Organization are organising a global webinar on career guidance through employment services to build young people’s future.
