Feeding the Future, Sustaining the Planet

The Asia and the Pacific Food Systems Forum 2026 will take place from 16–19 March 2026 in Manila, Philippines, advancing the Asian Development Bank’s (ADB) $40 billion Food Systems Transformation commitment. Under the theme “Feeding the Future, Sustaining the Planet,” the Forum will bring together government leaders, development partners, private sector innovators, civil society, and global experts to shape resilient and sustainable food systems across the region.

Over four days, participants will engage in high-level plenaries, regional dialogues, technical sessions, and innovation showcases, highlighting integrated approaches that connect climate action, nature-positive solutions, food and water security, and rural revitalization. The Forum will spotlight ADB’s flagship programs—including Sustainable Rice Farming, Glaciers-to-Farms, Source-to-Sea resilient river basins, Mountains-to-Delta, Nutrition, and the Pacific Agri-Food Investment Platform—alongside key partnership announcements and the launch of new regional initiatives. Emerging digital, data-driven, and AI-enabled solutions will also be featured as scalable pathways to boost productivity and climate resilience.

Attendees will participate in thematic sessions, natural capital dialogues, nutrition fairs, and a dynamic marketplace showcasing cutting-edge technologies, research, and investment opportunities. By fostering collaboration, mobilizing finance, and aligning regional priorities, the Forum aims to accelerate the transition toward climate-resilient, inclusive, and nature-positive food systems. Its outcomes will inform forward-looking programs, strengthen partnerships, and guide regional discussions leading into the ADB Annual Meeting in May 2026.
