The World Urban Forum (WUF), established by the United Nations in 2001 to address the challenges of rapid urbanization and its effects on communities, cities, economies, climate, and policies, will hold its 13th edition in Azerbaijan. Since its inaugural event in Nairobi in 2002, WUF has been hosted worldwide, bringing together thousands of participants, including government officials, academics, business leaders, urban planners, and civil society representatives, to exchange knowledge and shape sustainable urban development.
