From Commitment to Investment: Aligning Private Sector Engagement and Nutrition Outcomes

| 26 May 2026 | Hybrid | In-person and on Zoom

26 May 2026 | 9.15–10.30 AM (Rome CEST) | Hybrid: In-person at the Sheikh Zayed Center, FAO HQ, and on Zoom

The Access to Nutrition Initiative (ATNi) and the UN Food Systems Coordination Hub, together with the SUN Movement and the Global Donor Platform for Rural Development (GDPRD), are co-organizing a thematic session “Commitment to Investment: Aligning private sector engagement and nutrition outcomes”, to be held during Rome Nutrition Week 2026.

Amid a growing nutrition financing gap, the session will explore how institutional investors, development finance institutions, and responsible private sector engagement can better support improved nutrition and healthier, more sustainable food systems. It will examine opportunities to better align financial flows with nutrition objectives, alongside the need for stronger accountability, regulation, and data, while identifying practical ways to mobilize responsible investment.

Scaling up nutrition requires more than funding—it requires alignment. Innovative financing and stronger coordination can turn investments into real impact. From blended finance and public–private partnerships to climate funding and diaspora investment, aligning resources across sectors is key to closing the nutrition financing gap and accelerating progress.

Join us in shaping the future of joint nutrition action in a changing world.

The event will be held in person at FAO Headquarters in Rome, Italy, but virtual participation is also possible.
