The Committee on World Food Security (CFS) holds its 54th Plenary Session, focusing on "Making a Difference in Food Security and Nutrition."
Beginning with the presentation and discussion of The State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World (SOFI) 2026 Report, the session will continue on the Second International Conference on Agrarian Reform and Rural Development (ICARRD+20), policy responses to global food situations, agricultural transformation, building resilient food systems, application of Artificial Intelligence, data governance, and more.
The committee will also discuss the upcoming Multi-Year Programme of Work (MYPoW) 2028–2031, drawing consideration to emerging and enduring issues for food security and nutrition.
