Launch event of the 2026 edition of The State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World (SOFI)

FAO, International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), UNICEF, World Food Programme & World Health Organization are launching the 2026 State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World (SOFI) report.

The 2026 edition of SOFI report examines the challenges faced to achieve the goal for Zero Hunger, food security and improved nutrition (SDG2) by 2030. This report details how the cost of a healthy diet is calculated and analyzes what drives its regional differences. It also examines how economic factors and agricultural value chains impact these costs, while providing practical policy and investment solutions to make healthy eating more affordable.
