The Global Initiative on AI for Food Systems (GI-AI4FS) holds its first meeting, turning shared interest into systematic action, identifying its goals, and accelerating alignment across governments, industry, academia, and international organizations.
Various experts from international organizations, including the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the World Food Programme (WFP), and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), join to cooperate on the future of agriculture using AI systems.
GI-AI4FS aims to form a more open, resilient, and digital environment for agrifood systems.
