Harnessing Artificial Intelligence, digitalization and data governance for food security and nutrition

The 2024-2027 Multi-Year Programme of Work (MYPoW) hosts a High-Level Forum (HLF) on “Harnessing Artificial Intelligence (AI), Digitalization and Data Governance for Food Security and Nutrition”, focusing on utilizing artificial intelligence and digital technologies in circumstances of food security and nutrition, seeking a transparent and liable data governance.

The High-Level Forum will ponder on diverse aspects of AI, digital platforms and data, as it could increase productivity, improve warning systems, support climate adaptation , while it could also bring new risks on privacy, equity, bias, and digital exclusion.

High-level speakers and experts would discuss about these themes, highlighting the need for governance on AI, responsible adoption in digital technologies and the effective use of data in decision-making, to protect and food systems and the shareholders.
